life at the 3rd international winter piano academy Feuerwerk Einbeck, Einbeck, Germany, January 2019 International Winter Piano Academy FEUERWERK is an anual invitation-only academy for selected young pianists from around the world. It is organized by Konzert- & Kulturfreunde Einbeck e.V. and led by artistic director Gintaras Januševičius. FEUERWERK is an exclusive invitation-only academy, closed to public applications. Eleven participants are selected based on their outstanding talent and achievements during the past year and recommended by partnering competitions, academies, foundations, and universities. Its first edition in 2017 featured pianists from Lithuania, Estonia, Germany, Canada, and the Czech Republic. Since then it hosted three more successful editions.
